Ozones cleansing abilities are maximized in cold water, thus reducing the need for hot water in each wash cycle. Ozone allows for fewer rinse steps in the wash cycle, saving water and cutting wash cycles times. Ozonated linens retain much less water, reducing laundry weight and shortening dry times because the weave of the fabric is gently opened from the ozone throughout the entire wash cycle. With the weave open and less moisture retention the linens require less time in the dryers resulting in overall savings in energy, water, natural gas and time.
DIRECT INJECTION METHOD
Our patented, compact SOLS creates ozone by using clean air and electricity to directly inject the ozone into the cold water supply to each washer. Once sized and installed properly by us, the injector is active and under constant water pressure waiting for the washer to signal for cold water. Wash cycles are altered internally to utilize more ozonated cold water thus reducing overall hot water usage in the wash cycles. Once the injector is activated it creates a vacuum, mixing ozone into the water supply before going into the washer. Ozone has an extremely short life before it converts back into Oxygen, therefore Direct Injection is the safest and fastest method to utilize ozones oxidizing qualities in your wash cycles.
